A little "On Track Tuesday" action from our good friend Alessandro Sensoli. Alessandro won the NASA TT2 championship last year and will be gunning for it again this year.

"CorteX is not just products, it's knowledge, especially in Mustang World. The attention to details and the continuous help is what makes my car and myself faster every time."

Let's see some other CorteX equipped customer cars!

Another batch of vertical links headed out! These units do a fantastic job of eliminating deflection and providing smooth power transitions. There is also little increase to NVH making these units a perfect upgrade for any S550 Mustang from street car to race car. ... See MoreSee Less

Vintage mustangs don’t have much clearance for big tires. This is especially true of the 64-66 models. It does get progressively better up to 69-70. Here is a sampling of what we’ve done over the years to support modest but sometime extreme tire sizes.

As a general guide here’s a list of what you can get away with using our suspension systems without any flares.

64-66
Front 8” wheel with 245mm tire
Rear 9” wheel with 275mm tire

67-68
Front 9” wheel with 275mm tire
Rear 10” wheel with 295mm tire

69-70
Front 10” wheel with 295mm tire
Rear 10.5” wheel with 305mm tire

This assumes stock body panels with rolled fender lips, watts link rear suspension and our front SLA suspension. It also assumes you get the ideal wheel offset which varies between, model years, options and even alignment specs.

Obviously with flares and mini-tubbing the sky is the limit.

Those steel flares look great. I’m not happy with the quality of the fiberglass Chicane23 fenders on my fox body. Do you offer a set of steel flares for the fox bodies?

Hmmn, I have a 18×9.5" rim with 285s on the front of my 65 with rolled lips.

Third picture down looks awfully familiar… Those are Maier Racing Front fenders though.

Very cool information 👍

I'm running 18x9s with chassis works coilovers up front and 18x12 on a 335/30R18 out back with the g link and tubbed #68Falcon youtu.be/SS0HP41W_ys
