Xtreme-Grip™ Torque Arm System
Vehicles: Ford Mustang S197 (2005 – 2014)
The Xtreme-Grip™ Torque Arm is a rear suspension component that delivers unsurpassed corner exit and straight-line rear grip without sacrificing cornering ability. You can also expect a significant decrease in front end dive under braking since the rear axle rotational loads are now applied much closer to the center of gravity. These improvements are accomplished by changing the anti-squat and anti-lift geometry of the rear suspension.
Why Lowered Cars Need a Torque Arm
When a mustang is lowered from the factory ride height the rear suspension geometry is compromised reducing rear grip under acceleration. Relocating the lower control arms pivots on the axle is a step in the right direction, however, more improvement is possible. Our torque arm system allows significantly more anti-squat to be added to your mustang than with a 3 or 4 link design while still having correct rear axle roll steer.
Increase Traction Power
With a CorteX Torque Arm design, the rear tires are loaded more evenly than a 3-link design further maximizing traction.
Note: Requires 8.8 rearend.
If you are not buying the Xtreme-Grip Watts Link system in combination, you will also need to purchase the Super Low Profile TA Performance rear end differential cover in order to install this torque arm (select in options).

I have installed this Torque Arm on my 2014 Mustang GT. It has coil overs, front sway bar, Rear control arms ,relocation brackets, rear panhard rod roll center relocation and dunlop tires. It was a good handling car and fun to drive. But it did have that front vs back feeling The torque arm completely eliminated that. The car is now more composed. Here are the key points to get a T/A
.Almost zero front end lift while accelerating the car just moves forward
.improved braking …and improved handling while braking
.The car leans rather than tilting during turning
.Quieter ride

.The car has become composed , flat, and high speed stability inspires confidence.
I have to say installation was fairly straightforward. some minor prying involved and doing it on a lift would be ideal. Great product and just by looking at the fitment and finish I can tell this is a well engineered component a lot of development went in to making it. If you’re into driving and looking to take your mustang to the next level this is it.

Just finished installing these coilovers. Going from stock shock to these was a night and day difference. My car grips and handles a 100% better. Can’t wait to use them on the track. Plus the help from Filip and Tristen was top notch as well.
